Dr. Poppler is a board-certified plastic surgeon committed to helping patients look and feel their best. He has had the opportunity to travel all over the world to learn cutting-edge techniques and skills that allow him to deliver the highest level of care. A Boise native, Dr. Poppler has spent the past five years serving the local community, specializing in breast surgery — including breast reconstruction and cosmetic breast enhancement — as well as a wide range of other cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

He is passionate about aesthetic surgery, combining artistry with surgical expertise to help patients enhance their natural beauty and feel more confident. His approach is patient-centered, tailoring each procedure to the individual’s goal.

Dr. Poppler attended medical school at the University of Washington as part of the highly competitive Idaho WWAMI program. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Washington University in St. Louis and fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

As an undergraduate at Georgetown University, his degree in diplomacy has shaped his compassionate, open-minded approach to patient care, making him an attentive listener and trusted partner throughout each patient’s surgical journey.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Poppler enjoys spending time with his family, cross fit, and exploring the outdoors through hiking, biking, and skiing.
